Producing
Plays and musicals purchased on my site are available for production. You can request a perusal of a script at no charge after completing the form below. If you decide to move forward with a production, you will receive a production agreement and full royalty must be paid prior to the start of your production.
Royalty Rates
One Act Plays $50.00 1st performance / $40.00 for each additional
One Act Musicals $150.00 1st performance / 100.00 for each additional
Full Length Plays $100.00 1st performance / 80.00 for each additional
Full Length Musicals $250.00 1st performance / 150.00 for each additional
Musicals come with backing tracks, demo tracks, and vocal lead sheets as part of your royalty.
You are required to purchase (1) script from the online website, and you may reproduce the PDF of the script for your cast or distribute it digitally to cast members.

Musicals will have a separate credit for lyrics and music. Please see the first page of the script for proper crediting as well as your license agreement.
Starting a Production
1) Request a perusal. It’s free of charge.
2) If you decide to move forward, please send an email to darren@darrenjbutler.com with your information, the number of performances, dates, and the venue information.
3)You will be sent a license agreement. Sign and return.
4) Payment can be made with check or through our online payment system.
